Winning her first match in the tournament and moving on to round two, Reimi took a trip to a shop, wondering if she could find anything to help power up her deck. Her match with Rin showed her that field spells can weaken even the strongest of monsters. Entering the card shop, Reimi took her time looking at packs. Looking through a book she brought, Reimi was able to know every card that came in packs, so by reading these cards and what they do, she was able to narrow her search and the packs she would buy.

After Jason finished his duel, he decided to cool off and walk around. He couldn't figure out what that monster was or that girl... But they were definitely trouble. There was only a matter of time before he learned more about her. But in the meantime it seems that Divine was definitely out to get him. He was not paying attention to where he was walking and accidentally bumped into a very familiar girl. "Huh, oh sorry" He said shocked back into reality "Here, let me help-" then he got a look at her face. "Hey it's you! Reimi right?" he asked as he held out his hand to help her up.

Paying attention to the book more than her surroundings, Reimi felt bump into her, causing her to fall on the ground. Normally, she would tell people to watch where they were going, but not this time. She looked at who bumped into her and knew he was familiar. "Thank you." she replied, grabbing the book she carried, which fell to the floor with her before grabbing his hand to be helped up. "That's my name." she said, nodding. "I didn't think we would ever meet again until we were opponents in the tournament, Jason. What are you doing out here?"

"I'm trying to cool off after the weird thing that happened in my round. You heard about it right?" Jason asked. Not sure yet of the 'results' of his match were shown to the public yet.

Reimi shook her head, knowing no results of the other matches. "No, I haven't." she answered, closing the book she had. "When I won my match, I left, so I don't know the results of the other matches. What happened?" Judging from the word 'weird' she guessed it wasn't a straightforward duel, like hers had been, so she was interested in what happened.

"Well, first I ended up dueling some psychic duelist, but just as I was about to win the duel, this giant Hummingbird appeared and killed him. The strange thing is that it came from an audience member." He replied. "Which meant I won by default... But I just can't figure out what that creature was." He replied then he noticed her book. "What's that a Card Catolog?" He asked with interest.

"An audience member killed your opponent?" Reimi asked, confused and slightly scared. If this person has the power to kill other duelists, I hope that person doesn't interrupt my duel. "I thought duelists couldn't hurt others through dueling." It was then she noticed that he had asked her about the book she was carrying. "This? This isn't a card catalog, it tells what cards came in what packs and that's why it's with me here. I'm going to buy a bunch of packs and with any luck, I'll be able to make a new deck out of them."

"Yes," Jason replied. "Apparently Psychic Duelists use their Psychic powers to really damage the Opponent in a duel. But this... this was completely different... Like almost evil..." he replied to her first comment. "Oh cool. If you want I could help. I have a kind of connection with various cards." he said with a smile.

"What did this audience member look like?" Reimi asked, wondering if it was anyone she knew. "A connection? What do you mean?" She clearly didn't know that some people had the ability to see duel spirits, therefore, she didn't know they even existed.

"All I could tell is that she was female and was in black." Jason told her. "About the connection... Well... first promise that you wont laugh or think I'm weird..."

"I can't promise anything, unfortunately." Reimi replied, knowing she couldn't. She was usualy serious, but if something was funny or weird to her, she would make it known.

"Well you make me feel so confident." Jason replied. "Let's just say that I can tell that certain cards are 'attuned' to their Owners. Like Jack Atlas and his Red Dragon Archfiend." He explained. "I can Sortof sense those cards who are attuned to specific Duelists."

"I've heard of people who can sense and even see these Duel Spirits, but I didn't think I would ever meet one of these people." Reimi replied, looking away. "Sometimes, I wish I could see Duel Spirits."

"Yep, I can see them. It's neat sometimes." Jason replied. "But it does help, because I can tell when cards call out to people." Jason smiled. "If you want, I can help you find what cards are calling out to you."

"It won't make much of a difference, right?" she asked, unsure of how it all worked. "Either way, I can't see them, so I don't think it would matter."

"Actually you'd be surprised at things a Duel Spirit will do to help you, if its a friendly spirit." Jason answered. "They can lead you places by inklings, or they can protect you from real danger. They are concerned for their owner's safety." Jason replied. "They can even help you in a duel when you need it."

"Well, if there are any spirits in my deck, it s useless to try and communciate with them because I won't be able to hear them." she replied, wondering if it was possible to learn to see and hear spirits. She would wait and see if he would ask her amy questions.

"Would you want me to see if you have any Spirits in your deck? You never know, you may not see any spirits merely because you have any spirits in your deck." Jason replied thoughtfully.

"Actually, if I'm getting a new deck, there might duel spirits in them....actually, if it's possible, maybe I can learn how to see and hear them." Reimi answered, looking back at him. "Is it possible?"

"I've heard that some of those Signers can get abilities like that. Other then that, it's something that a few people have from birth. But it can be dormant for several years. I didn't see Monster Spirits until I was 14." Jason replied.

"I'm 20 and I still can't see them." Reimi replied, letting him know her age. "If I have the ability, it's still dormant within me." New knowledge made her have some renewed hope.

"Well, it's possible that you could have a dormant power. Have you heard of any sounds but then turned and nothing was there?" He asked.

Reimi nodded once. "Sometimes I have, but other times, there was something behind me." she answered. "When I did hear things, there were animals behind me."

"Well usually you will start to hear Monster spirits before you could see them." Jason explained. "It does take a bit getting used too."

"Seriously? I wonder if they want to make their presence known to their owners." Reimi said, taking out her deck.
