Jason ran towards the arena. His errand all done and a new card in his hand. He looked as he ran to the board which noted which arena he was dueling at but didn't even realize who his Opponent was. Hopefully it wasn't another Arcadia Movement flunkie. He quickly arrived at the arena and saw Reimi there. He assumed that she was just there to watch his duel.
"Hey Reimi! Is your duel done already?" He asked.

Reimi shook her head and activated her duel disk. "I'm your opponent, to be honest." she answered, smiling and turning away, believing she could now reveal that she was under mind control, but wasn't going to reveal it yet.

"Oh..." Jason replied. "That's awesome! So are you ready to play then?" He asked and then sighed. "At least it's not another person from the Arcadia Movement." He mentioned after his sigh.

"Alright then," Jason replied, placing the card he had been holding in his deck. He then placed it into his blue-tinted Duel Disk and it automatically shuffled his deck. "If your ready then lets go! I'm just glad that this time no one's life is at stake." He said, not knowing the truth of this duel. "You can start things off then Reimi"

Being allowed to start the duel, Reimi drew five cards from her deck and then a sixth to form her starting hand. "I'll set a monster facedown and then set three cards facedown to end my first turn." she replied, already planning for something big.

Jason shrugged, "I hope that wasn't your best move" He said. "It's my turn! Draw!" He drew his card. "This will work." He mentioned. "I'll start by summoning my Sapphire Pegasus! Which now activates his effect: I get to place a Crystal Beast in my Spell/Trap Zone as a Spell Card!" An Amethyst Crystal appeared in his Spell/Trap Zone. "Next up its time to Battle! Pegasus attack Reimi's defense mode Monster with Sapphire Horn!" Pegasus charged, ready to destroy the Defense Mode Monster.

Unfazed by her Ancient Gear Soldier being destroyed, she just smiled on. For her plan, she didn't need much. "Trust me, you've seen nothing yet." she said, waiting for her next turn to begin.

"Okay then, show me what ya got!" He replied. "I'll toss 2 Facedown cards and its your turn Reimi." He announced. He thought it was a bit strange that she didn't seem at all phased that her Monster was destroyed, but shook off the feeling. 'Perhaps that was apart of a plan she had' he thought to himself.

"Very well, I draw!" she exclaimed, getting another card to work with. "I activate my Terraforming spell card. With this card, I can get a field spell from my deck and my only choice is Geartown, which will be activated." she said, the scenery changing. Take it slow and don't reveal your intention just yet. she thought. "I end my turn." By now, it was obvious that she was planning something.

'Great...' Jason thought. 'Now I have to get rid of that without destroying it' There was a way he could, but it relied on one thing, if his next card was a WIND Monster. "It's my turn! I draw!" Jason drew his card. 'Shoot, not it' he thought. "I summon Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger!" He announced as the Tiger appeared. "Now Pegasus attack Reimi directly!" He announced as he charged right at Reimi.

"I reveal my Magic Cylinder trap card!" Reimi exclaimed, a card with two cylinders showing themselves. "This card negates your attack and then your monster's attack points comes out of your Life Points!"

Jason took the blow of 1800 damage, but suddenly a Psychic blast came at him as well. Pegasus blocked it from hurting Jason or anyone else though. "What on Earth?" he mentioned to himself. "Reimi, are you a psychic duelist?" he asked after the strange blow that he took. "I thought you said you didn't have psychic powers..."

Now there was no point in trying to hide it. She may as well as reveal her partnership with the Arcadia Movement now. "I'm sorry, but I forgot to show this to you." she replied, showing a pin that signified partnership with the psychic organization.

"What the-?" Jason responded to her revelation. "Y-You're with them? You're with the Arcadia Movement?" He replied, shock fully evident in his face. "How...Why? Why would you join them?" He asked, now worried even more for his friend... Was now her life on the line? Was she with the Arcadia Movement all along? He then looked again at her face. She had a more distant look, her eyes didn't have the same kind of shine... Was she under some mind control? He couldn't tell exactly.

"D-Did they do something to you after they kidnapped you?" He asked. "What's up with your eyes? They look a bit darker then normal..." Jason observed. What happened to her? Can she really be a psychic? Or did they do something to her to make her seem to have psychic powers? All he knew was that this duel would reveal what happened to her... "So I guess this duel means if you lose, you'll die right?"

This card will block your silly animal's attack and then set itself back facedown so I can use it next turn." After seeing it set itself, Reimi continued on. "Come now, none of your simple claiming tricks won't work now. If I were you, I would surrender or find an alternative strategy."

"Let's see what the psychics gave me." Reimi said, drawing the next card in her deck. "Thanks to Geartown, all Ancient Gear monsters require one less tribute and monsters requiring only one tribute can be summoned as if they required none to begin with, so come forth, Ancient Gear Beast!" Coming from the ground, Reimi's monster began showing itself and she knew it would cause good damage if left unopposed. Still, she waited for any kind of chain from her opponent.

"If you're waiting for me to respond, I have no response." He announced. 'This is good, now I can use my Facedown Mirror Force to wipe out that Beast then I'll be able to attack her directly in my next turn and take the lead' he thought ready to trigger the dangerous trap upon the declaration of the attack.

"Say what?" Jason replied in shock as Topaz was destroyed and he took 400 more damage. The psychic blast was small and easy to handle. "Anything else you want to throw at me?"
