She had no idea what to do today. It was honestly boring. Not a single hint of a secret, or anything interesting for her to play with today. Instead she was just kind of stuck wandering around, hoping for something to strike her fancy. Maybe she would find something fun to play with? That would be nice. She could always try to mess with the heart or mind of some person, maybe get them to pay for something, or to give her something, or even to let her in on something fun. She would love that more than anything right now.
Instead, she just could not get herself to do it right now. Even if it worked, how would she get the next one? Would she have to lower herself to such levels each time? Would she have to play some seductress to people she did not even care about, just for some slight bit of entertaining knowledge? Why could she not just pick up the paper and find something, an Article or something to draw her into a hunt? She much more enjoyed that, less energy on her part just getting a hint, than if she went through the other route. Sadly Carly was not posting Articles in the paper, and no one else really wrote much more than the current dueling news. Boring.
She sighed as she walked. Just what would she have to do for some entertainment? She looked up at the sky. How Dull, it was blue. Not a single cloud in the sky. "Why do things have to be so quiet!" she screamed at the top of her lungs randomly. She was getting frustrated, and about punched a table nearby. Long story short, the couple sitting there were frightened by her outburst. "Sorry, I am just a bit frustrated today, excuse me." with a bow she left quickly, leaving them both blinking and possibly scared.
Still, this was one frustratingly boring day. It was like nothing could come of it. Why could she not be in the middle of some grand hunt? Secrets, knowledge, maybe some work? Something to keep her busy. Something to make things fun. She just needed something... anything.

Layla was just wandering the streets at this point, wondering why her sister's only gift to her was a deck of cards of all things.
She was startled out of her thoughts by a scream, ironically complaining about the quietness. Deciding she had nothing better to do, she went to investigate.

She had slowed down finally a block or two later. It would not due to draw attention. She needed to compose herself. How else could she do anything to find entertainment, if she was ill prepared for what ever she might do? She was not likely to run into any kind of fun by scaring people. She could always sneak over to Satellite again. That might be a fun idea. She did not like how she had to cover up more there, but she would not mind the potential for mischief there, as long as Security did not catch her. That would have to wait though as she noticed something was odd.
There was someone following her. A pretty young lady to be exact. She might be able to have fun with her. Still, how to get her to make the first move. She was not certain of the girls orientation, so showing off some flesh could be just as useful as dropping a brick on the ground. She did notice something interesting about her, but was not certain if it was the box she held, or just the way she held herself.
She had to be careful about this. She would have to play ignorant, and dumb. She would have to make it seem like she was perfectly fine, but a ditz. She knew how she could get the girl to speak to her. The woman just shook the smile off her face, and composed herself to have a blank expression. There, that should do it. She then went around a corner and waited. If the girl would turn the corner, she would bump into the girl purposely. That should get the girl to make the first move.
She made as if she was in a hurry. This might get the girl to speed up after her. That was likely to work, she hoped. If it did not, well that fun might have to wait. She waited patiently just far enough around the corner so that she was not able to be seen if the girl was still after her. This would have to go perfectly. This could be more fun than anything else, if it went right. She almost laughed.

Layla took the bait, speeding up as the woman disappeared around a corner. Turning it, she walked straight into the woman she followed.
"Oh, gods, I'm sorry..." She lowered her gaze and blushed. Damn, she was stupid...

She could not have wished for it to be better. She looked at the girl and with a dumb grin on her face. "Wowzie, I did not mean to bumpsie into you, are you okies?" she asked, putting on her ditsiest act she could. She would have to play with this more and more. She noticed the blush. "How cute are you, nothing is hurt, is it?" she asked giving the girl a pat up. She did it not just to get a slight understanding of the girls body, but also to find out if she had any weapons on her other than her deck. How nice this was.
She then gave a giggle as she looked at the girl, her crimson eyes giving her a quick check over. "I did not mean to bump into you, sowwie!" she said, her act putting a bit of sugar into it. She really wanted the girl to fall for her trick. She then adjusted her hair softly, so that her heartshaped face was in full view, and that her bangs would be less spider like. She was really putting on an act. She just did not know how effective it would be.
She made sure to put herself as all sunny and friendly, mainly so as to keep any passerby from thinking that anything more than a harmless collision happen. She noticed some D-wheelers driving by, and felt that made this an even better chance to put herself on display. She made sure that the Purple lace on her dress and Red Frills were able to be seen in her open Trench coat.
She then, with the blank face added with a smile, "My name is Yamishou, Mie, it is nice to meet you!" conveniently forgetting to add "What is your name?" As she was really putting on the act. Still, not that this woman would know. She was not famous, and had never met her before, so how would she know, that this was the Spider who hid among information channels?

Layla inwardly scowled at the obvious ditz she had bumped into. Why the heck did she think this woman had anything special about her?
She found herself staring a bit too long, and blushed before once more averting her eyes. "Nice to meet you, sure..." Well, Izzy back home was always telling her that appearences could be deceiving...
"What exactly do you do, Yamishou, Mie?"

She was very ready for the question, and just let the words flow. "I work, I work as a model! That is it, I model clothing and stuff!" she lied of course. She did not want the person to realize she was just a snoop, someone who found information, and either used it for her own gain, or sold it when it was hired requests. She knew that she could pull off a model, both with her eccentric dress, and how most people do not know their personalities from their appearance. She did not mind coming off ditzy and stupid. This was just normal for her to act this way when she was seeking something. Just like she could act slutty, or even prim and proper if needed. Deceit was something natural to her, like how a spider can deceive its prey into thinking it is safe, before striking out with its web.
She looked the girl over once more, certain of it. "Hey, you are like, totally cute, you should so try to become a model or something, you have the potential babe~" she said, making sure to put an emphasis on the last word, she was still pulling ditzy, and even throwing in some acts like that you might expect from someone deep in the business. She was giving her more looks over. Still, nothing suggested she was that well off. She might have some money, but not enough to extort from her anything.
She then looked at her with admiring eyes. "Are those Duel monster cards? I am like totally jealous, I never have timesies to get into it, but the creatures and costume ideas are totally something one could model off easypeasy~" she added that last part to try to show that she might know something, but that it was hidden behind ditz and low intellectualism. She did not know how the girl would respond to that, but she did know that she had made it very apparent that she had noticed the deck box on her person. She wondered what she would learn from that.
She waited for the girl to say anything, while acting all jittery and energetic, while also being as ditzy as she could. The Blank Face with the high energy and stupid grin. That was a look that could fool most people. She wondered how well it was working on the girl.

Layla sensed something was up. One of her sisters had been quite the girly girl, but even she had some brains. This woman was like a caricature. A cartoon. A fake.
So she decided to play her game.
"So, Mie, what do you model? I don't remember you from any catalogs..." Of course, she never looked at said catalogs, but she picked up some stuff from said sister.

She continued the Charade, this was not hard for he to explain. "I model on stage, duh~" she stated, as she did her cat walk pose, which was not hard to do. She did practice a bit sometimes, if only to make such a thing plausible for other acts. She also looked at the girl with a knowing smile. "I also do it for a special person, he pays me money so I show off stuff he makes, like this coat" she spoke, still acting like a complete airhead. She did not even let on that she was intelligent.
She had let slip the tattoo on the back of her hand, and almost murmured a curse under her breath, but held off on vocalizing it, and instead made as if she was doing a breath to amplify her figure. She would not have much chance to explain that tattoo, she would have to explain it well when the question was asked, as she could not make it seem like she had noticed it.
Instead, she gave the girl a quick stare into her eyes. "Are you into fashion at all? I could like totally hook you up." she stated, once against pulling off valley airhead. It was not hard to explain that much of stuff. She would not really be certain what she would do, if the girl was to try to accept her offer, but she was certain the girl would decline.
It did not seem likely she would ever accept such things.

A hard monster to destroy, this one. "Uh, no, no thank you." She barely caught a glimpse of the tattoo, but at this point was getting tired of the charades. She'd ask one more question before giving upon the quest entirely. There was still that tournament somewhere in town, wasn't there?
"What was that? On your hand?" She tilted her head questioningly.

She looked at her hand for a moment, as if trying to figure out what is being asked about, and then saw the tattoo. This of course was all an act, but it was not like it was unfitting what she was pulling off. She then had realization dawn on her face, and then giggled. "That? That is a tattoo, I got it on a whim, lets just say funny drink does fun things." she stated, almost totally oblivious appearance wise. In reality, it was a tattoo on top of a birthmark. She would not go into it though.
She looked at the girl. She was starting to mentally get exasperated. She could tell the young lady was not letting her guard down. This was starting to get boring to her. She could always pull off a desperate maneuver, but that might backfire worse. A spider has patience, she thought to herself. As such, she looked the girl over and asked a simple question. "So, do you like have a Tattoo or anything?" she asked almost certain the answer was no.
She would wait on the girls response, but if she did not start seeming fun, she might just have to leave her be.

Layla smirked. "Yes, I do. The tombkeeper's marks. You can't see them unless I'm naked, but they're there."

She almost smirked. That was an interesting Tattoo to have. Still to have to strip her naked would be a problem. She would have to consider some way of getting into her pants later, so she could see the tattoo. Still, it would be difficult, since her act seemed to be off putting the girl. That was bad for trying to seduce her. She would have to figure out another way to handle things. Maybe claim she had been put up to a bet later? That might do it.
For now though, she wanted to find something else. Some way to make this work in her favor. Instead, she just saw another cafe. That might work for some relaxation while she try to figure out how to make things work. "How about, like, you and I go drink at that Cafe? It might have some good drinks." she stated, with a dopey smile. It was her best on the spot. "And if I am lucky, maybe you will show me that tattoo sometime, you know, like just to show it." she added, almost as if she did not know what she was saying.
She then started walking off, with or with out her. It was just how she was. This was how she would handle this situation. If the girl did not follow. She could find her later. She just needed more reasons, more things, and more information. She could find out by looking her up later. It would not be hard to look her up. Layla was not a common name.
Looked like today was indeed filled with potential treasures.
