Sky Pegasus puts players who don't use xyzs at a disadvantage since the anime version can't be destroyed in battle except by other xyz monsters. I'm not saying you can't use it, but it should be able to be destroyed in battle by anything strong enough to kill it.

My idea is that Original Numbers have that effect. But Numbers that are copies can still destroy Original Numbers. Also, they're still affected by all Card Effects and he's not very strong either.

What about using the TCG version of the card? You still get its other effects. The only effect you'll be losing is its ability to survive battle against non-xyz monsters.

No, the TCG version is completely different from the Anime effect.
This is the Anime effect: Cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. When your opponent pays Life Points: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the amount of paid Life Points. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; destroy it, unless your opponent pays 500 Life Points to negate this effect.
Also, do note it still has 1800 ATK and is vulvernable to card effects and other Numbers.

Second effect is too overpowered. Opponent plays Solemn Judgment and then they lose. Solemn Warning will cost them 4000 LP. Psychics are built around paying Life Points and I'm not even going to touch the other types of decks that require Life Points to be paid. That cannot be running around here. I'm sorry, but if you won't use the TCG version, then Sky Pegasus can't be used at all.

I think the original was made to be a Counter to Psychics and the Solemns (I'd much prefer that the anime version was basically made.) It makes an Opponent question actually using those cards, or better, not using them. But if you insist, I'll use the TCG version but with the Cannot be destroyed in Battle except by a "Number" card. Since this is supposed to be the Original Number not a copy. (He went to the Ruins that will be featured in the Show and then got the card)

Alright, as long as it's the TCG version, you can use the card.

I want to avoid hard feelings in this matter so perhaps if I explain my rational it might help to smooth over this issue.
1. XYZ's were not present in the 5d's time realm I am doing my best to account for people who want to use them while still being fair to people such as myself who feel the game would be much better off if they weren't allowed. compromise is necessary.
2. anime cards by and large are OP why? because the results of the duel are "pre-planned" so that it makes the tv show more interesting, this is a real duel against a real opponent we need to be fair to both sides. so as a general rule with limited exceptions anime cards will not be allowed for that reason. I hope you can understand my reasoning. I want to be fair and neutral to players.
thank you.

I understand that, but I also have that feeling like we probably cannot use the Signer Dragon's either (just because of the basis of the story, and 5D's clearly notes there are not copies of them except the three used by the Jack clone. At least the Japanese implies that.) Also, it does have a bit to do with my Char's background and a bit of his motives right now. I don't mind using the official version, but with the Numbers cannot be destroyed in battle except by Numbers.

I will let you keep that effect for now. when the duels start to take place we shall see if that effect negatively impacts the flow of the duel. Because theoretically you could put it in defense mode and stall out a duel against anyone without xyz number cards. Might need to be while in attack mode only.
