"Very well, I draw." Reimi said, looking at what she could possibly do. "I activate one of my facedown cards, Seed of Deception! This card allows me to special summon a level 2 or lower plant type monster and I'm special summoning Phoenixian Seed in defense mode." When her new monster hit the field, Reimi's points dropped by 700 and another new monster showed up. "Meet Crab Grass. I was able to special summon him because a plant type monster was summoned to my field and I paid 700 life points. Because it was special summoned this way, I get to destroy one spell or trap on your field and I choose Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins!"

"Sorry Reimi, but my Field has a Special Ability as well, if I have at least one Crystal Spell, no card effects can destroy my Ruins." Jason responded as the the glowing pillar took the blow, but the Field wasn't damaged at all. "Sorry, but you wasted your Monster's Effect."

"Then I'm guessing it has other effects as well." Reimi said, looking at her monsters. She could perform a Synchro Summon, but she had two options at this point and she knew exactly which monster to go for. "First, I will set one card facedown and then tune Crab Grass with my Phoenixian Seed and Weeping Willow to synchro summon my Mist Wurm!" Reimi's three monsters disappeared and then in her tuner's place stood a monstrous beast, ready to do some damage. "Unfortunately, my Wurm only has one effect, but I get to return three cards on your field to your hand, so let's return your two facedowns and your monster." As her targets were called, Mist Wurm generated a tornado that split itself into three and heading for her selected targets.

"Sorry, but before that I can activate my Spell, Crystal Resonance! Now I can place a Crystal in my Spell/Trap Zone! I choose my Cobalt Eagle." A Cobalt Crystal appeared in his Spell/Trap Zone before the two other cards returned to his hand.

"Very well, but that won't save you from my Mist Wurm's direct attack! Go, amd chew up his life points!" At her command, Mist Wurm took a bite at Jason, succeeding in its attack before coming back to protect its owner. "Well, that's all I can really do. I end my turn."

"Sorry Reimi, but you won't be getting all the Lifepoints out of me that you were expecting! Thanks to my Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins that is! You see when I have 2 or more Crystals, I can halve the Battle Damage I take once a turn!" The second pillar activated, absorbing half of the the attack's power. "I guess it's my turn now." He drew his card. "Looks like your in for a bit of trouble this turn. I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus." The Pegasus once again appeared on the field. "And now it's effect activates: I'll choose my Quartz Fox." The Pegasus' horn glowed and a Quartz Crystal appeared. "Now time for some fun, I activate Crystal Beacon! Now I Special Summon my Ruby Carbuncle from my Deck because I have 2 or more Crystals!" Ruby Carbuncle appeared and its tail crystal glowed releasing all of the other Crystal Beasts in the Spell and Trap Zone. "Also my Ruby's effect, I get to Special Summon all Crystal Beast Spells! Now I activate Quartz Fox's effect! Go Quartz Duplication!" Quartz's Collar Crystal turned Brown. "Now my Quartz Fox is a Level 4 EARTH Monster. So now I'm tuning my Level 4 Quartz Fox and my Level 4 Amber Mammoth! Let the Clustering of Stars show forth the ultimate Monster of Scrapmetal! Rise and show true power! Scrap Dragon!" Scrap Dragon appeared and roared. "My Quartz's effect activates! It becomes a Crystal. Now Scrap Dragon's effect will activate! I can destroy a Card on each player's Field! I'll destroy my Ruby and your Facedown on the Left." Jason declared. A bunch of Scrapmetal blew out from Scrap Dragon towards Ruby and Reimi's Face-down.

"There goes my Safe Zone." Reimi said, having no way of negating Scrap Dragon's effect. "I guess we're not wasting any time busting out our attackers, are we?"

"Seems so, but I have another thing coming too." Jason added. "I Overlay my WIND Sapphire Pegasus and Cobalt Eagle... With these two Monsters I build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon, the force of Wind and Thunder: Lightning Chidori!" Lightning crashed everywhere as it appeared, one lightning bolt hit Reimi's Facedown, vaporizing it, but really sending it to the Bottom of her deck. "Now I'm going to be laying on the real hurt. Ready?"

"Next I activate Chidori's Effect, by Detaching 1 Overlay Unit, your Mist Wurm goes back to your Deck!" Chidori ate one of its orbiting Overlay Units, "Thunder Screech!" It made a screeching sound along with a blast of lightning from its mouth causing Mist Wurm to vanish. "Now Scrap Dragon attack Reimi directly, Scrap Stream!" Scrap Dragon blasted Scrapmetal from its mouth, aimed directly at Reimi.

Reimi defended herself with her duel disk as soon as she saw the attack coming. Her points dropped by 2800, but that was only the beginning and she knew that all too well.

"Next up, Lightning Chidori attack with Chi Lightning!" Jason commanded. Lightning Chidori screeched and shot a bolt of lightning from its mouth right at Reimi to Electricute 1900 Life Points away from Reimi.

Again, Reimi shielded herself with her duel disk when the attack came. She didn't want to feel too much pain, but she knew some of it coudn't be avoided. "Is that all?" she asked, knowing she was now in a very difficult situation.

"It's back to me." Jason declared. "I activate Scrap Dragon's effect! I can Destroy a card on each player's Field. I choose my Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins and your Monster! At this moment My Ruins' first effect activates: It cannot be destroyed by Effects! Unfortunately your Monster isn't as protected. Go Scrap shot!" Scrap Dragon shot out a wave of Scrapmetal from its bottom, and then Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins' first pillar protected it from the attack but the Scrapmetal kept going towards her Monster.

Reimi's defensive monster was destroyed by the effect of his monster, but at least she would have one more turn to live, however, she wasn't sure that an extra turn would even matter at this point.

"I'll set one card facedown and end my turn." She really couldn't do much, but if she was able to get a full hand, things might be different.

"I draw!" Jason checked his hand. "This is perfect, time to end this game." Jason said with a smirk. I summon Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger!" The Tiger appeared. "Next I use Crystal Beacon! I can Special Summon Sapphire Pegasus from my Deck!" Sapphire Pegasus appeared. His horn glowed again. "Pegasus' effect activates! I place the Pegasus in my Graveyard in my Spell/Trap Zone as a Crystal!" A Sapphire Crystal appeared, filling up his Spell/Trap card zones. "Now I Overlay my Level 4 Sapphire Pegasus and my Level 4 Topaz Tiger! With these two Monsters I build the Overlay Network! I Xyz Summon the ultimate gunman! Gagaga Cowboy!" A Cowboy appeared on the Field in Defense Mode. Two Overlay Units orbiting it. "Sorry Reimi, but your in the Red Zone... Your under 800 Lifepoints... So now it's time to end this game. I activate Gagaga Cowboy's effect! When it's in Defense Mode, I can Detach 1 Overlay Unit, to inflict 800 Damage to you!" An Orbiting unit was pulled into his gun, "Final Duel!" The Cowboy shot Reimi's Lifepoints.

She sighed. Even if she were to stop the effect in some way, she still would lose by Lightning Chidori, therefore, she didn't even try. Reimi didn't even block the shot with her duel disk and instead embraced the final shot.
