"She did. And as I bet you already deduced by how your expression was caught, we caught you because you were accidentally turned to stone by my powers." Jason explained how she was caught. "But why are you here? Are you here to spy on us?"

"I was invisible, but I'm guessing you can use magic as well." Celes replied, getting closer. "Only other magic spells can break my invisibility. As for the spying part, no. If I was still with the Empire, I would be leading an attack."

"As far as I know I don't use magic..." He replied. "But I do know that I was able to turn you into a stone statue using my Trap Card, Gorgon's Eye." He explained. "So what's your purpose here in my apartment? I doubt you came to watch some pervert inspect my apartment..."

Reimi shook her head, allowing Celes to continue. "I realized I may have been lied to after I got in." Celes admitted. "I say that because I couldn't see his face and since I try to keep my use of magic a secret, I had no choice but to believe him at that point."

Celes shook her head, letting him know that she didn't know what his goal was. "I am from a place called Vector." she answered, turning around. "It was destroyed by espers, one of which I am infused with and my birthplace is now buried underneath this city and part of Satellite. I imagine the palace has been destroyed by now, after crumbling away for a while."

"So it was destroyed? Are you it's only survivor?" He asked partly assuming that was what she was. It would be the first survivor of an ancient civilization before. "Wow, I'm meeting quite a few unique people this week." He commented.

"Now? I'm not sure." Celes answered, looking back. "I can tell you that I wasn't frozen and didn't reawaken. Back then, a lot of people did survive when the world was drastically changed. I may be the only survivor now and I'm wishing I'm not, but so far, I haven't found anyone I know...which is why I'm here."

"Huh, so your from some ancient past then. Were you preserved by some magic or something? Also then how old are you? You look like your only about 18ish..." He asked. He wondered if she was being confused at all these questions he was asking at this point. He also noticed that Reimi seemed fascinated by the Chalice. He wondered if that was because he commanded her to hold it or if she genuinely liked it. "Reimi, just wondering but do you genuinely like that Chalice or is it the effect of the Mind Control?"

"Your assumption about my age is correct. I am only 18 and have already accomplished a lot in life." she answered, wondering if she should tell him about where she grew up. "My world is far beyond primitive, but it doesn't have all the fancy technology this one does as it was devastated by the War of the Magi a thousand years ago. There's only one airship in that world. In order to be alive now, I willingly took off my Ribbon and a very good friend of mine petrified me and made sure no one, no matter how powerful they were in magic, could free me, so yes, I was preserved with exceptionally strong magic."
Reimi, who was still holding the chalice she adored so much, now had a question she could answer. "I love this chalice and it makes me want to get one of my own." She wondered how much longer she was going to be under Mind Control, but for all this to happen, getting free wasn't a top priority.

"Hmm... Maybe then would you like to explore the city with us?" He offered. Wondering if perhaps she could help them somehow as well. "You can keep that one Reimi then." But he was concerned about this girl, maybe it would be best to make sure she cannot mess around in his apartment while he was gone. She seemed fastenated by him, but it may be that she found him more of a threat then Reimi... Best to be safe then sorry he thought.

"Actually I have no idea what's all in this city. That's why we're exploring. I've been here for about a month. I was about to get a travel guide before we left when that surprise inspection came. So I still need to get the book. While you do seem to be friendly, it may be best if I don't take chances with you just yet while I'm gone." Jason mentioned as he placed Spellbinding Circle in his Duel Disk, targeting her. "This is just a precaution because of the way we found that you came in. Please understand." He then turned to Reimi, "please watch her while I get the book. I'll be back in a minute."

Trapped in a circle, Celes struggled to get out. Great, I can't do anything. she thought, still trying to get out. "I understand wanting to take precautions, but I'm not going to do anything that would get you forced out of here." Celes said, trying to earn her freedom.
Reimi nodded, standing at Celes' side now. "I will watch her and she will not get away." she replied, already beginning to watch her. "You go get the travel guide."

"It's not that, it's that I'm not sure your not a Cat Burglar that I ended up capturing by accident. Anyway, I'm sure you'll be fine. Besides this will be quick." He replied. As he finished talking he left the room, leaving Reimi to watch Celes, not that she would have much trouble as Celes was no longer able to move thanks to the trap.

Watching him leave, she looked to Reimi. "This is not how an Imperial general should be treated!" Celes cried out, knowing he couldn't hear her. "If this is how he treats you, I'm surprised you're still here. Why do you follow his orders anyway? I didn't see him carrying any rank...any rank that should be respected anyway." Reimi did not speak and kept Celes under close watch.

Jason got the the travel guide and began to head back. He wondered about the girl's story, and why she was in his apartment. He was pretty sure that if she was actually bad, if she didn't have connections to Divine, that he could have her arrested. But he seriously hoped that she wasn't. She was interesting to him. He wanted to know more about her. That and it was about time to turn off Mind Control on Reimi again. As he came back in he removed the Mind Control Spell. "How was she?" He asked Reimi.

"Other than screaming out about how that isn't how an imperial general should be treated, she was alright." Reimi replied, now having control of her own mind and pointing to the circle Celes was in. "She really doesn't like that."
"I'm wondering why she's still with you if this is how you treat all the girls that get in here." Celes replied, keeping her eyes on him. "She doesn't look like the type who would constantly put up with you if you keep doing things like this to her."

"I don't actually treat everyone like that, I just have concerns as you did break into my apartment... Like I said, just a precaution." He replied removing the trap holding her where she was. "I meant no trouble. That and, I also kinda just learned I have these powers... Literally today..." He explained. "They do seem to have a lot of good uses, like getting that old creep away from Reimi."
