It's finally time for round 2, and it seems like she is up against yet another person who she had never heard of. Although, to be fair, Yuzuki hasn't heard of that many duelists in Neo Domino, but that was besides the point. Needless to say, all she has to do is win this quickly and convincingly to book her spot in the third round. However, she does doubt that this will be easier than her round 1 match, given that her opponent has also won a round. Shrugging to herself slightly, she awaits her opponent, while wondering what kind of match she will be having this time.

Winning her first match, Mina walked into the arena, taking her position and facing her opponent. If I almost lost to Jack in the last round, I wonder what kind of deck my opponent will be playing this time. Now she also knew her superiors knew that she could duel, so now this tournament meant nothing to her. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

As with the last round, Yuzuki didn't see a need for pre-match banter, and so she just tipped her hat in greeting again. She drew her hand, took one look at it and immediately knew that she had to play a lot differently than last time. Round one, she had a hand that can go on the offense immediately, while this time, pure defense until the pieces assemble themselves. With that, she summoned Tour Guide of the Underworld and said, "When this girl is summoned, I can summon another Level 3 Fiend-Type from my deck, and I choose another Tour Guide." When the second monster appeared, she continued, "Now that I have 2 Level 3 monsters, Xyz summon Rank 3, Number 49: Fortune Tune in defense position." As she said that, the two fiends disappeared from the field and in their place is a blue bird with a golden twig in its mouth. With that, she set 2 cards in the M/T zone and passed the turn to her opponent.

"Alright then, my turn." Mina replied, looking at what she had to work with. She figured she should go on the offensive since her opponent was playing defense and that was exactly what she was going to do. "I summon Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind in attack mode. Now, attack Number 49: Fortune Tune." Despite the card being after her time, Mina had an idea of what they did.

Wordlessly, Yuzuki detached a material from her monster and said, "By detaching a material, my monster can save itself from destruction." Looking at the monster though, she thought to herself, 'A tuner... this is not going to be another blast from the past type deck... I should be playing even more carefully in this duel.'

As her turn begins, her monster began chirping tune as Yuzuki gained 500lp from its effect. Seeing her newly drawn card, she decided that it's time to activate her spell, Pot of Duality. With that, she revealed the top 3 cards in her deck, being Needle Ceiling, Ghostrick Kyonshee, and Mystical Space Typhoon. After putting Ghostrick Kyonshee into her hand and shuffling, she promptly set a monster, set another card in her M/T Zone, and stated, "Turn end."

With Fortune Tune giving her opponent Life Points, Mina knew she had to scrap that thing fast. "Gale the Whirlwind, attack Fortune Tune again!" Mina ordered, knowing that the other material would be detached to save it. "I end my turn."

Detaching yet another material from the attack, her monster is now practically defenseless. It doesn't matter too much though, as her hand is starting to come together. After her initial draw, her monster sung a tune again to grant her Life Points gain. Afterwards, Yuzuki flip summoned her Ghostrick Kyonshee and used its effect to add Ghostrick Lantern to her hand. After that, she activated its effect to flip it face-down again and calls it a turn.

Deciding to just send that Fortune Tune to the graveyard, Mina drew her card then pointed at Fortune Tune. "Gale, send Fortune Tune to the graveyard and attack it!" All Mina now had to do was wait and see if her attack was successful.

As her monster got sent to the Graveyard, Yuzuki stated, "Now, for Fortune Tune's effect. When it's sent from the field to the graveyard, I can return 2 Level 3 monsters in my Graveyard to my deck. I choose my Tour Guides. Since I did that, Fortune Tune goes back to the Extra Deck."

"Well, I end my turn now." In truth, she was waiting for the right cards so she could pull off something big and take a huge lead, but Mina believed that her time was running out for that.

With that, after drawing her next card, Yuzuki flipped summon her Kyonshee again to add Ghostrick Specter to her hand. After that, she promptly summoned her Ghostrick Witch from her hand and waits to see if there are any response to the summon.

"I reveal my Icarus Attack. By tributing a face-up Winged Beast on my field, I select two cards on the field and destroy them, so I'm selecting both of your monsters." Mina was praying that those facedowns were not counters to her trap. If her trap had followed through, she would be in a great position.

While she is a bit annoyed that she lost the witch so quickly, this is a good time to finally activate one of her face-down card. "I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your other face-down card." A gust of wind blew towards the set card, destroying Anti-Spell Fragrance. As the chain resolves and all the monsters are destroyed, she stated, "Now, for Specter's effect..." With that, the ghost appeared on the field, stuck its tongue out, and then hid into face-down defense position. "Since a Ghostrick was destroyed by your card effect, I can Special Set this little guy. Plus I get to draw a card as well." Drawing her next card and seeing that there isn't much else to do, she declared, "Your turn."

With specter destroyed, the scene from last turn replayed itself as Yuzuki Special Set yet another Ghostrick Specter. After drawing her card from Specter's effect, she stated, "Do continue."

Afterwards, she just summoned Pumprincess, the Princess of Ghosts. As the awkward looking pumpkin appeared, she stated, "turn end."

As her monster is destroyed, Yuzuki said, "When Pumprincess is destroyed, I can put her in my M/T Zone." While she said that, her monster retreated backwards towards the M/T Zone. Since her opponent's turn is finished, she drew and stated, "Standby Phase, Pumprincess grows a pumpkin." As she said that, she placed a counter on Pumprincess and explained, "For each counter, your monsters lose 100 ATK and DEF." The newly grown pumpkin then began to zap her opponent's strength. To end her turn, she simply set a monster as she still cannot do much at the moment."
