Jason walked towards his hotel in the Upscale area. It was a very nice cosy place, the hotel he stayed at even had a virtual duel terminal where you could test your deck as well as an arena where he had practiced a bit. But he wasn't thinking about that now. He was thinking about the Arcadia Movement. Before they seemed to be only Psychic duelists... so since when could they make cards become real? And why kidnap his new friend Reimi? He sighed. He was nearly sure that the police here seemed to be either infiltrated or unable to take on this movement. He was deep in his thoughts and wasn't really paying any attention to wear he was going. He had been here less then a week, and suddenly there's people here who are out to kill him! And kidnapping his friends! There was only one thing he could do. Save Reimi, but first he had to find her... But where could the Arcadia Movement be? And did they even bring her there at all? He had so many questions, but no answers... He didn't even know where to look for answers....

Steve approached the person he was supposed to give the letter too. All he was told is that it was exceedingly urgent cautiously he walked toward Jason "Jason? I assume." he said "I have a very high priority letter for you" he said bowing as he completed his task and turned toward his home.

"What the?" He mentioned after he took the letter. He opened it up and read it carefully. "Am I supposed to believe this?" He said after reading it twice. But then he looked over the city area and thought for a moment he saw one of the guys who kidnapped Reimi. He quickly began to run towards that spot. Could it be? Could Divine had been telling the truth? Well he was about to find out right now!

At the spot described in the letter Shawn and Luis took turns psychically bringing spells and traps to life on Reimi to make the letter Divine had written to Jason more believable. "its my turn" Luis said as he pulled a card from a large stack "go cold wave" Luis said activating the card. A large blizzard came over her body. Turning her to ice. Luis and Shawn could sense Jason approaching to further seal any doubt Jason may have about the letter. Luis and Shawn began to speak about how Divine is unfit to lead Arcadia and how they should be the rightful leaders. They spoke loud enough that Jason would be able to hear them quite clearly.

"Hey!" Jason shouted as he ran towards them. "Return Reimi!" He demanded as he stood ready to take them down. "So this is where you ran off too! So answer this question, why'd you kidnap her?"

Shawn looked at Luis and then at Jason "its quite simple really, we took her to try and blame Divine, that wretched fool. he is unfit to lead the movement. and once you would go after him for our actions we would be able to take over the movement ourselves." Shawn said with a curt smile. "but it seems it was all for naught, caught before our plan could come to fruition. I bet that fool Divine helped you huh? he always suspected us of treachery but I thought he was naive enough to not see what was going on. you can have your girl back. but I won't undo the cold wave spell from her. figure it out yourself or she will remain in that state forever" Shawn laughed "oh wait... your not a psychic. you can do nothing to help her." Shawn laughed as he stared at Jason and then the frozen Reimi.

"Don't think I'll let you leave!" He shouted as he jumped in front of them. "Release Reimi now unless your ready to duel!" He growled, activating his duel disk. "It's your choice!"

"I don't think you have a choice" Luis said with a grin "that is real ice. and her body will begin to freeze. and if that happens, she will die. so you must choose chase after us or potentially save your friend" Luis said as he tapped Shawn on the shoulder. they both began to run down an ally away from Jason. "good luck trying to save her you fool" they yelled back as they ran

Jason growled. "Cut the crap! You can't just freeze her to death with some kind of ability that allows you to affect humans!" He began to chase when Number 44 appeared.
"Hold up Jason. They are right. Reimi's body temperature is dropping rapidly!" He told Jason.
Jason stopped and turned. "No way!" He ran back to her frozen form. " How can I free her?" Another pain pulsed in his arm.
"Pull out that card you got in that pack! Heat Wave." Sky Pegasus suggested. Jason nodded and pulled it out. He then played it into his Duel Disk. Another pain shot through his arm.
"I activate Heat Wave! Free Reimi!" Jason said as he activated the spell, freeing her from her icy prison. He grabbed his arm again as pain pulsed through. "Reimi! Reimi, are you okay?"

Exhausted from being target practice, freezing and on her knees after being thawed out, she began coughing quickly. After she was done, she looked around, not knowing where she was. "Where am I?" she asked. She saw Jason and stood up, holding onto him. "D-did you save me from those guys?" she asked, looking into his eyes. In reality, she was a sleeper agent for the Arcadia Movement, but she would never say that.

"Your welcome." Jason responded with a smile. Upon hearing her question, he thought for a moment. "Apparently they were planning to overthrow the Arcadia Movement's leader, Divine. But I don't know how they were planning that kidnapping you would be any help in that. Since Divine and I already are enemies."

Jason looked at her strangely. "Wait, how would you know that they were serving him and not just causing trouble?" He asked. "Even Divine gave me a letter that confirmed that they were acting on their own." Jason showed her the letter that Divine gave him. "But on the other hand, Im not sure he can be trusted."

Divine could hear the conversation Reimi and Jason were having threw his mind control link he had with her. he walked over to his desk in his office and slammed his fist down upon it with rage. "everything I have worked toward is going down in flames." he said angerly as he tapped into her mind. "you and I never met.. those captors they work against me. If I am to destroy Jason.. he must believe that I am weak and can not even control the Arcadia Movement. make it appear that the organization is disillusioned with my leadership. tell Jason that Luis and Shawn said the following" "Divine is a weak leader. who's lack of strength is evident. Shawn we will first overthrow Divine and then take over the city. the people will worship us as God's among men" Divine left her mind after telling her this.

Reimi shook her head, the control over her evident. "Sorry, I'm still disoriented right now and I don't recognize what I'm saying." she replied. "Those two are planning to overthrow Divine and then they're going to take over this city and then force the people to worship them as gods."

"I wouldn't be surprised. So I'm guessing they were practicing their 'god-like' powers on you?" Jason guessed. "Are you feeling any long term effects of anything that they did?" He asked. Wondering about her sudden disorientation... Perhaps was Reimi more affected by them then she was before? "Are you sure your Okay?"

"Don't worry. They're not going anywhere. Not without tires they aren't." Jason replied with a smirk. "They didn't know that Security was already onto them, and had some help from Divine. I doubt Divine likes people attempt to kidnap and take over his organization. But what did they do to you?" he asked.

"Aside from testing their powers, they probably thought I would help them take over the world or something." she answered, keeping her eyes in the entrance and exit of the alley. "That's all I remember, sadly."

Jason nodded and picked up her bag of cards. It was dropped by the side before. "Here Reimi, your cards that you bought." He mentioned as he handed the package back to her. He then began to lead her back to his home for now.
