Shawn, Luis and the captive arrived in Divine's office threw the power of the teleport spell. as they got their bearings inside the building they told Reimi "the boss is already on his way up, he will explain things more clearly then we are able to" they said standing guard. Divine arrived up at his office moments later. he opened the door and frowned. "you fools, why is she still trapped? she is a guest not a caged animal!" he yelled "release her at once, this is unacceptable." Divine said scowling at his 2 incompetent members Luis and Shawn looked down at the floor. released her from the spellbinding circle trap and walked out the door. "Ms. Reimi, I am sorry that you had to be brought her under such circumstances." Divine began with a slight frown. "but the truth is, I couldn't come see you personally while you were with the murderer Jason, he killed a member of my Arcadia Movement." he stopped for a moment to let her grasp the concept. "his name was Blaze, Jason killed him in cold blood. and when I saw you spending time with him I had to step into action." Divine said adjusting his tie "why you might ask, because I can sense Psychic Power within you, its deep and locked away. but it is there. I can help you bring it out. bend it to your will" Divine said with a soft smile "The Arcadia Movement is a home to all psychic duelists whom Society has shunned and turned a blind eye too. we are all working together toward the common goal of acceptance and harmony." Divine said softly.
Divine walked to the window and looked down at the people walking about. "I can understand you not trusting me. being brought here under such a circumstance is quite traumatizing. but if I could have done anything else.. I would have" he said frown returning. Divine returned to his desk and retrieved Reimi's bag of cards. "here are your cards, not a single one missing" Divine said handing the cards back to her.

Reimi grabbed the bag that held her cards and her unopened packs. She didn't trust anyone right now and her trust in Jasom was severely shaken. "I have Psychic power? How can I bring it out?" she asked, wondering why it has been dormant all this time. "Was everything Jason told me a lie?" She then turned her attention to the duel he had spoke of. "He told me a girl dressed in black killed his opponent. If he wanted to kill me, I think he would have done so by now, don't you?" Psychic powers, a possible murderer, and even more thing happening. What is happening to the world my ancestors lived in?

"not everything he said was a lie. The women in black did kill one member of the movement." Divine said bitterly "Marius was a great man. Driven and dedicated to his fellow members" he said "but there was another. His name was Blaze. So named because I rescued him from a burning building" Divine said "Blaze was killed by Jason during a duel before the tournament started" Divine said sitting down at his chair behind the desk "Jason has not harmed you because he thinks he can use you for his own causes. I don't know what they are yet. But he will not be allowed to see them to fruition. Not as long as I can stop him" Divine said with a slight smile. "to begin to harness your powers you just need to be in the presence of a powerful psychic. All that is required is a simple handshake. My power will draw yours to the surface." he said "I am here to help in anyway possible. Perhaps a tour would ease any mistrust and doubt you hold. About me and my organization?" he offered

If the boss was offering to ease her distrust, Reimi would try to take advantage of the offer at best as she could, but she wouldn't trust anyone, except herself. "Since you're offering, I'll need access to your duel fields and all information." she said, looking at Divine. "If the information in your data banks match or mean the same thing as you say, then I'll trust you. However, if I find a hint of deception, you'll have some answering to do."

"the duel fields are on the first floor above the lobby" Divine said "as to your information request" he said folding his hands on the desk "the information regarding Blaze,Marius and Jason I am free to share." he said as he pulled the keyboard from under his deck out and placed it on the desk. He began to type a logon in "Dguest" and a password. As Divine typed he though "with this login she won't be able to get into any of the classified documents. In fact it will appear as though they don't even exist." Divine stood up from the desk and pulled the chair out. Gesturing for her to sit down. "this database has a list of members, locations, and recent events pertaining to duels they have participated in" he said

"to an extent. For safety and security certain documents are restricted." he said choosing his words carefully "I don't know exactly what your looking for. If your trying to look into my past you won't find much. Its not a happy story" he said frowning
"I created the arcadia movement because when I was younger I was an outcast. Had no friends, my family abandoned me because I was a freak." he said sadly "I knew I wasn't the only psychic in the world so I created the movement as a sort of sanctuary where we could escape the percussion." he said stating a partial truth.

Reimi knew she had to get those documents looked at. "If you're keeping some informatiom from me, how can I trust you?" she asked, not searching yet. "I can't believe anything you say if I can't have full access to everything."

Divine walked over to the windows once more and looked down. He thought for several moments not saying anything "it can't be helped" he said turning around slowly "trust goes both ways Reimi. You make demands of me of the information I have. Yet I have no way of knowing if Jason hasn't gotten you to come with them as a spy" Divine said angrily "yes that's what it is. Your a spy. I can not abide a spy in our midst." he said.
"I challenge you to a duel." he said rasing his spare golden duel disk. "if I use the other deck I risk killing her. She may yet be of use" he thought.

"I was taken as a hostage!" she exclaimed, standing up quickly. "If I was a spy, I wouldn't have resisted or I would've left him." Seeing he had a duel disk on, she put hers on and was ready to duel. She looked down and wondered if she was doing the right thing. "If it's a duel you want, then I accept. If I win, you'll grant me access to everything."

"if you are able to beat me you can see the documents you want." Divine said "but I know you won't beat me. I am the ultimate psychic duelist." he stated as he drew 5 cards "I'll go first. I draw" he said as he drew a 6th card. "I activate emergency teleport it lets me special summon a level 3 or lower psychic from hand or deck" he said
" I choose the tuner Krebons. Next since I control a psychic on my field I can normal summon armored axon kicker without tribute." he said as he now had 2 monsters on his field "now I tune my level 2 krebons and level 6 armored axon kicker. Surge, my black mist of vengeance! Synchro Summon! Come, Mental Sphere Demon!" he said as his ultimate psychic beast appeared on his field.
"I set 1 card facedown and end my turn" he said quite happy to have his daemon on the field first turn

Nightshroud noticed a power coming from Reimi as well as that Divine began a duel with her. "Hold off." He mentally commanded Divine. "This duel your having will not end in anyone's favor. But there is a dormant power within her. Call off this pointless duel before the plan falls apart. She may have Darkness but she's incapable of becoming a Dark Signer."

"I am so glad you feel the need to interject yourself into my dealings at every possible moment." he said to Nightshroud. "in order to bring out her psychic powers there has to be a duel. I can control her mind at any point I choose. I want to see what's she's capable of." he said. "unless you want to just send her to face Jason with no judgment of her abilitys?" he questioned sarcastically.

Looking at the monster he had brought out in his first turn, Reimi instantly knew that it was trouble. I have to take it down and fast before it becomes unstoppable. she thought as she drew six cards. "First, I'll start by activating Trade In. I send a level 8 monster, such as my Ancient Gear Golem, from my hand to the graveyard to draw 2 cards from my deck. Next, I set a monster facedown and set 2 cards facedown to end my turn."

"its my turn now, I draw" he said drawing a card. "I activate the spell card psychokinesis. As long as I control a psychic type monster I can destroy a card on the field at the cost of 1000 life points. I select the facedown spell or trap on the left" he said a beam of psychic energy was sent forth from his spell toward the card he had selected as its target.

"Can't you sense it? She has no Psychic powers. But she does have a different aura about her." Nightshroud informed his warrior. "If you insist on dueling then very well. But make sure the duel is inconclusive. For if you win, she will be absorbed into my World." He finished before leaving his mind for now.

Having an idea of how psychics were run, Reimi guessed she could force him to pay Life Points and then deal whatever was left in damage to win, but with a monster like Thought Ruler out, that wouldn't be easy. "I'm chaining your target with itself. I reveal Compulsory Evacuation Device! Now, you have a choice to make. I'm targetting your monster and if you don't do anything to stop my card, you are going to lose what looks like your best monster." If her plan worked, she would be able to get a big early lead, but the duel was far from over.

Now knowing he was down 2000 Life Points, Reimi knew she had a good lead, but she couldn't let her guard down. If she could keep it up, she would be able to make him keep paying Life Points until he had very little left, but she knew the chances of that happening was nearly impossible.

"His effect is he can reduce a monsters attack and defense up to 500 by paying the amount in Lifepoints." Divine explained "go forth my Archfiend. and attack her facedown monster." he said as the Thought Ruler opened its wings and began to launch its attack

"since my Archfiend destroyed your monster and it was sent to the graveyard I gain life points equal its attack. Which is 1300" he said as his lifepoints went up to 7300. "now psychic commander attack Reimi directly." Divine said as the commander aimed his cannon at her and fired.

Surprised by Thought Ruler's other effect, she now knew it would be tougher to drain his points. At Psychic Commander attacked her directly, Reimi shielded herself with her duel disk, but she was thrown backwards and felt real pain.

Reimi got back up and stepped back to where she was before getting thrown back. "I'm not going down that easy. Draw!" With her fourth card, a lot of options were available to her. "First, I'm activating Terraforming, which allows me to add a field spell from my deck to my hand. I choose my trustworthy Geartown, which I will activate. Next, I'm summoning Ancient Gear Beast and due to Geartown, I don't need to tribute for him." A change of scenery and a monster strong enough to take out Psychic Commander. She was proud of this move, but she still had cards to work with and moves to be made. "Now facedown, reveal yourself! Mystical Space Typhoon! I get to destroy a spell or trap card on the field and its only target is my field spell, which will activate its effect. I can special summon an ancient beast monster from my hand, deck, or graveyard. So from my deck, I special summon Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon!" Now having two powerful monsters on her field, Reimi could clear his field of monsters by attacking in a certain order. "Ancient Gear Beast, attack Psychic Commander!" Upon her order, it began running at its target, ready to kill.
(I'm not done, but I'm stopping here in case you want to activate Psychic Commander's effect...not that it will make much of a difference.)
